I joined the mentoring program offered by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, and it was an average experience. Though my mentor seemed knowledgeable, our sessions lacked depth, and I didn't feel a strong connection. The program has potential, but improvements in the mentor-mentee match process would make it more effective.
