Machrihanish Dunes provided an average golfing experience. The course was decent, but nothing exceptional. The views were nice, and the staff was friendly. However, I felt that the greens were not well maintained, and some areas of the course were in need of repair. Overall, if you're looking for an average golfing experience, Machrihanish Dunes is worth a visit.
