Gold Star Parents Retreat provided me with the support and understanding I needed after losing my child in the military. The retreat was a safe space where I could share my grief with others who have gone through a similar experience. The staff was empathetic and provided valuable resources for healing. Although the retreat had its limitations, it was overall a positive experience that helped me in my healing journey.
