These are obviously fake reviews! Hope of the valley mission is a terrible place. The food is comparable to the county jail for one. Sometimes the food is sour. I saw the staff temp the food today 2-26-2025, and it was 149 degrees not 165 like requirements state. The director of the facility shows favoritism towards his race(Hispanic) saw staff eating the dinner several times before they even served the residents. Black mold in the showers, the washers and dryers are always broken and you barely get to wash clothes every 2-3 weeks. This place is a complete joke and should be shut down. I’m almost positive there is embezzling going on there. All they want to do is keep beds filled so they can keep donations coming in. BEWARE… hopefully donors see this and pull back from donations because this place is not doing the right things. They also allow people to keep alcohol in their lockers outside the door. People are constantly drunk and high on drugs there as well and staff lets it go on. I can go on and on.
