Sahara Reporters is a news website that encourages citizen journalists to report ongoing corruption and government malfeasance in Africa. It is an online community of international reporters and social advocates that shares commentaries, features, and news reports from a Nigerian-African perspective. The site publishes text, image, and video content to inform African citizens and activists globally about news related to politics, business, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and education. Sahara Reporters was launched in 2006 by Omoyele Sowore.
