Its product portfolio includes development kits, sensor textiles, décor products, illuminating textiles, and more. The company utilizes a combination of advanced materials such as electronic inks and pastes, and conventional- and silicon-based fibre optics woven into textile to create a light emitting effect. These can be integrated with any other of material while maintaining the flexibility, elasticity, comfort, and its ability to wash. Sensing Tex  was founded in January 2010 and is based in Barcelona, Spain.
