Sonrise Technology Solutions started life as LAN Crafters on January 1, 1999. I decided that I wanted to provide high-quality computer design and repair services to small businesses, who were so small they could not afford to hire their own support staff. I wanted every small business to have the same quality and consistency of support that large corporations had. They needed this and LAN Crafters was created to supply this need. I ran LAN Crafters and served as its only part-time technician for the 1st year. In January 2000, I went part time at my position with Sandia National Laboratories and for the next 18 months, I was a full-time technician. Mid-year, they grew to the point that I hired my 1st technician. He was full time while I stayed part time at Sandia.
